President’s Message

In my first message as President of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the honor of being installed as the 64th President of the Association. I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to take the helm at this amazing organization with some of the best lawyers in the state. It is truly a privilege for me to practice law in this area now for eighteen (18) years and to continue to serve the community.

Moreover, it is with immense appreciation and excitement that I reflect on the incredible installation Gala we recently celebrated together. The sold-out event was a resounding success, with a record number of nearly 300 esteemed lawyers, judges, and distinguished guests in attendance. Judge Rosemarie Scher was awarded the Distinguished Jurist of the Year. The evening was a testament to the strength, unity, and camaraderie of our legal community. Thank you for your enthusiastic participation and unwavering support, which made the event truly memorable.

Additionally, I want to thank Chris Sajdera for his service and tremendous leadership as this past year’s president. I must also express my gratitude to our Association’s annual and event sponsors. Without our sponsors, we are not able to successfully move the organization forward.

Now, as we turn our attention to the year ahead, I am excited about the opportunities that lie before us. I look forward to continuing to build on our organization’s success and incorporating new ideas for programs to benefit the membership. Our Board of Directors and staff are already hard at work planning a series of engaging and impactful events that will enrich our professional lives and strengthen our connections within the legal community.

As I mentioned during the installation Gala, this year, we want to continue to thrive and thrive with purpose. We will work on providing more benefits to the members, including additional CLE offerings. A second priority will be to emphasize community engagement and support, with particular attention given to support towards the development of the next generation of lawyers. We will also continue to have some great social events that will allow for networking opportunities but will incorporate more events that are family friendly. 

To achieve these goals, we need your active participation and collaboration. I strongly encourage you to join one of our committees, where your insights and energy can help drive these initiatives forward. Your expertise, enthusiasm, and dedication are invaluable to the success of our Association. Together, we can create a year filled with professional growth, meaningful service, and memorable experiences. I look forward to working with all of you to make this bar year our best yet.
