“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind. Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.” -Dr. Seuss
All of us are a sum of our experiences and the people we’ve met along the way. Sometimes people aren’t meant to be in our lives forever, and that’s okay.
Everyone has had someone pass through their life for only a period of time, that still had some effect on them, whether it was a friendship that faded over time, a relationship that just didn't work out, or even a person that you met while on a summer vacation. The examples are endless because our lives are filled with people that come and go. Some people are needed to arrive exactly at the time and place we need them to. They may help motivate us to keep pursuing a goal and stay on track or help transport us to the next level of our life journey.
Everyone we meet is an opportunity to grow and maybe even learn a life lesson. Loosen your grip, and peacefully allow people to come into your life. Similarly, if they aren’t meant to stay, with thanks, let them go and make space available for new opportunities.
